Pedro’s Word of the Day Sometimes we need a space for inspiration. Or just a place to remember why we are here. Pedro's Word of the Day is Judgmental. To be excessively critical of someone or something. This is the one thing that angers and upsets me when I see it happening. Too often does this happen. If you could take a moment to walk in someone's else's shoes, be in their head space, understand what someone is going through or have gone through, would you be as critical? And what purpose does that criticism serve, aside from showing a lack of compassion? Pedro's Word of the Day is Kindness. You don't need to be overly kind. But just offer that one seed of kindness might be what someone needs. And more kindness can grow from that seed. Pedro's Word of the Day is Quiet. If you want to be a good listener, first be quiet. Quiet your mind and quiet your mouth. You will be surprised by what you start to hear from people and your heart. Pedro's Word of the Day is Relax. Take a moment to step away from the chaos, or "busy-ness" of social media. Being plugged in constantly is not healthy for your inner peace. Take a moment to just do something else today. This also applies to work and people you are over exposed to. Pedro's Word of the Day is Hurt. Sometimes the hurt we feel is not always a bad thing. It reminds us we are still alive and helps us to be more compassionate to the suffering of others. Pedro's Word of the Day is Peaceful. We can't have every moment of our lives in conflict with something or someone. Even with ourselves. Eventually, you will tear yourself apart and those around you. Pedro's Word of the Day: Gratitude Thank you anons for the inspiration to keep doing (whatever it is I do). I am reminded that kindness breeds more kindness. But the ugliness within the world exists. It's not my job to battle with it, by jumping in and getting myself dirty. But I can navigate around it and sprinkle seeds of kindness around it.
